The Avon Fish 2000 safety knife incorporates an enclosed blade within a 4.7mm gap with patented opposed exits at the back of the blade for a smoother cutting action and a auto-retracting hook blade, to ensure maximum user safety and to reduce accidental damage to the product in the carton being opened.

It is suitable for both left and right-handed users. The blade or hook can be used for opening taped cartons, the cutting of light and medium weight sheet materials, e.g., nylon pallet strapping, string, paper, polythene sheeting and shrink wrap.
